The opening exhibition of NG Art's new gallery space borrows its theme from its new location, the 19th Century Gothic Revival-style mission hall that was previously occupied by Sydney City Missionaries over 110 years ago.
The exhibition entitled There Is No Place Like Home features the work of 43 celebrated Australian artists alongside graduates of Mission Austraila's Creative Youth Initiative Program.
The concept of 'home' is uniquely explored by the contributing artists in a variety of genres. All were asked to interpret this theme on a 50x50cm canvas. |
